A spot in the utility room
I keep the backup gear together by the laundry room. I made a short list of the circuits I want available first and taped it above the units so I can find it in the dark.

Inside the HomePower 3600 Plus
Run times are estimates for one device at a time at typical power draw.
01 Why it works
3,584Wh
Enough stored energy to keep a fridge running for about 20 hours, or a Wi-Fi router for days. Then refill it with the two included solar panels.
3,600W
3,600 W continuous with 7,200 W surge for start-up loads, through pure sine wave 120 V outlets. Microwaves, space heaters and power tools are fine.
10ms
Plug your essentials in through it, and if the grid drops it takes over in 10 ms or less, so your router and computer stay on.
02 The details
Every outlet you need, on one front panel.
Ports
Four 120 V 20 A household outlets and a 30 A TT-30 outlet for RVs. There are also two 100 W USB-C ports for laptops, two 18 W USB-A quick-charge ports and a 12 V car port.
Every AC outlet is pure sine wave, so sensitive electronics run the same as they do on wall power.
Two Jackery SolarSaga 200W foldable panels come in the box, 400 W of rated solar in total, with the solar charging cables. Set them in the sun and they recharge the battery with no fuel and no noise. You can also charge from any wall outlet.
The two DC8020 solar inputs take up to 1,000 W combined (16–60 V, 12 A per port), so you can add more panels later.
Quiet Charging Mode keeps the fan down when you charge overnight, and the Jackery app shows charge level and power use over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
A LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery rated for 6,000 cycles to 70% capacity, in a 15.2 × 12.2 × 19.3 in case. At 77.2 lb, it rolls on built-in wheels with a telescoping handle.
It's certified to FCC, UL, UN38.3 and RoHS standards and works from −4 to 113 °F.

☀ Included in the box
Two SolarSaga 200W panels come with your HomePower 3600 Plus. Unfold them in the yard or on the deck, plug them in, and the sun refills the battery during a long outage, with no gas runs and no generator noise.
Solar charging speed depends on sunlight, panel angle and weather.
03 What it runs
Estimated run times on a full charge, one device at a time, at typical power draw. Your results depend on the appliance and how you use it.

I set it beside my desk and plugged in my laptop and phone. I could finish editing at my usual spot without hunting for another outlet.
Devon P.
I rolled it over next to the trailer and used it for the camper’s outlets. We made breakfast and ran the little fan without starting the generator.
Cole M.
The lights went out while I was making dinner. I plugged the fridge in first and left the door closed while I figured out what else I needed.
Ana C.
I put mine next to the modem and router instead of moving them every time the power flickers. Now the cords stay where I need them.
Graham S.
I brought it to our cabin so I could make coffee before everyone got up. The first morning was quiet enough that I could hear the rain on the roof.
Paige R.
I can wheel it down the hall easily, but getting it down the porch steps is a two-person job for me. I leave it near the door now.
Gretchen T.
My workbench is at the end of the shed, nowhere near a wall outlet. I set the Jackery beside it for my task light and drill battery charger.
Andre K.
I use it at my photo table to charge spare camera batteries and run a small light. When I move the table for a different background, the power comes with me.
Nora B.
I charge it ahead of bad weather and leave a flashlight and my short extension cord on the shelf above it. It’s one less thing to look for when the lights go.
Darryl H.
I moved it into the bedroom during a summer outage and plugged in a window fan. It was nice to have a breeze while I waited for the power to come back.
Celia W.
I like seeing the load on the screen while I test different gear. From my chair across the room, I still have to get up to read the smaller numbers.
Trevor L.
I brought the projector out for a backyard movie and put the power station under the table. I liked keeping the cable out of the path between the chairs and the house.
Jules A.
When the lights go off, I like having the local radio on. I keep my radio and a reading lamp near the Jackery so both are easy to reach.
Beth T.
I tried a new layout in my sewing room and put the machine in front of the window. With the Jackery underneath the table, I can keep it there while I decide if I like the spot.
Imani D.
My first test was the chest freezer downstairs. I left it connected while I sorted a shelf and checked the display to see how the draw changed when the compressor kicked in.
Miles F.
I put it under a garage shelf to charge tool batteries. I ended up moving it forward so I had more room to reach the connections.
Helena S.
I used it for a lamp by the back door so the kids could see their shoes during an outage. After that I plugged in my phone and left the rest for later.
Elena Q.
I took it car camping for our plug-in cooler and a rechargeable lantern. Once the car was unloaded, I kept it next to the cooler instead of carrying it back and forth.
Theo V.
I used to have to crouch behind my desk to find a free socket. With this next to the table, I can plug in my phone where I can see what I’m doing.
Rina G.
I had been running a long cord across the garage for my detail light. I rolled the Jackery next to the car instead and finished working on the passenger side.
Vic N.
I brought it to an outdoor craft market for my card reader and two clip lamps. I could set up before the organizers finished sorting out the booths.
Nadia E.
I used it while cutting fabric at the dining table. I could hear the fan kick in from my chair, so I moved it a little farther away the next time.
Faye J.
I plugged an electric griddle into it on our covered deck and made pancakes while everyone sat outside. I could stay with the family while I cooked.
Emmett J.
I tried the toaster while the station was set up in the kitchen. I like seeing the draw climb when it’s on and drop back when the toast pops.
Leah U.
I took it along in our camper van for the camera charger and laptop. I could put both away charged instead of deciding which one got the socket first.
Peter Y.
I put it next to the dining table during an outage so my daughter could keep using her laptop and lamp. She finished her slides while I got dinner sorted.
Tessa O.
I didn’t have room beside the kitchen cabinets. The wheels made it easy to tuck the Jackery into the pantry and roll it out when I wanted to use it.
Samir X.
I plugged in a bench light and my small speaker while I cleaned and tuned my bike. The only noise I noticed was the music and my freewheel clicking.
Rowan I.
I tried recharging from a folding solar panel at a campsite. My spot was shaded by midmorning, so I had to move the panel to get much out of it.
Wes H.
I set it up in the daylight and asked everyone to try plugging in their own charger. I’d rather have the kids learn where everything goes before the next storm.
Micah Z.
I keep it in the hall closet and check the display the night before a storm. Seeing the charge on the unit is faster for me than guessing how long it’s been since I plugged it in.
Jo F.
I was staining a shelf in the shed and needed better light to see the edges. I put the Jackery under the bench and plugged in my work light.
Caleb B.
I set it by the living room wall and connected the TV and console during an outage. We finished the round we’d started and put the controllers away afterward.
Mina L.
I work out of a little studio and used it to run my laptop and label printer when the street lost power. I finished packing the orders I’d already laid out.
Rafael W.
I tried my portable heater while I had a couple of smaller things plugged in. Seeing how quickly the heater pulled the battery down taught me to save it for short bursts.
Priya A.
I brought it out to the driveway and plugged in my small vacuum. I could get under the car seats without threading a cord through the garage door.
Marisol E.
I brought my keyboard and a small amp onto the patio for rehearsal. I could set up where we had shade instead of crowding around the back door.
Lena K.
I set my drill and driver batteries on their chargers while I sorted the hardware for a fence repair. It was nice having everything at the same end of the yard.
Owen B.
I plugged in my headlamp, phone and bike light while I packed for a dawn ride. Seeing all three cords in one place reminded me to take them.
Kiara P.
I brought it to a volunteer cleanup and used it for the tablet and a small printer. We could put the sign-in table near the trailhead where people actually arrived.
Milo N.
I ran my small aquarium air pump from it during a planned outage. Checking the display was easier than wondering whether I had left the pump running.
Inez V.
I ran my lamp from it while I painted trim in the spare room. I moved the lamp and battery together as I went around the walls.
Isaac G.
I plugged in my clippers on the porch and trimmed my dog there. It was easier to sweep up the fur outside.
Bea C.
I packed it for an early hike and plugged in my little kettle while we sorted our gear. Hot coffee made the cold start easier.
